Amelia Earhart, lady with wings, lived a long time ago. She challenged the role of women in the field of employment and became an airplane pilot. Amelia Earhart studied airplane instrumentation and flight patterns. Earhart was one of the winners of the Powder Puff Derby and won other aviation competitions. Amelia Earhart welcomed challenges in her life and was famous and brave. In 1937, Earhart and her co-pilot,Fred Noonan, were flying to Howland Island and never reached their destination. This was The Last Flight and one that would have completed her around the world flight legacy. Amelia Earhart was a brave woman who left an incredible legacy for people everywhere.
